Sadly announces the death of director Mike
Massaro on Tuesday May 19, 2009 after a prolonged illness. The greyhounds
will miss you, Mike!!!
The remaining EscaRosa Greyhound Adoption hounds have been properly cared for by the same staff that have assisted with care for them during the past two years while Mike has been ill, and most have been distributed to other adoption groups.
As of June 9 2009 the following greyhounds remain for adoption at EscaRosa and you may contact Dee Friess at 859-327-2115 to inquire about their adoption:

Greyhound Pets of America - Emerald Coast have also taken in some of Mike's dogs for those who wish to adopt one of the dogs that remained at EscaRosa.
Dee Friess is working on the EscaRosa property site and will take in a few greyhounds for adoption on a smaller scale when the site is ready. If you would like to contribute materials to this effort, the items she would appreciate you donating in Mike's memory are:
Pet Screen (from Lowe's) - comes in a roll
Old 500 or 600 size airline crates
Call Dee at 859-327-2115 to set up item donations.
The staff has asked that monetary donations NOT be sent to EscaRosa at this time as all EGA assets are frozen and tied up in probate, so in Mike's memory they ask that monetary donations be made to:
to assist in dealing with the many cats and kittens on Mike's property.
